Man caught with
schoolgirl in abandoned house
POLICE
yesterday, acting on a tip off, shortly before noon swooped on an
abandoned house at Plaisance, East Coast Demerara where they caught
an adult male in a ‘compromising position’ with a 14-year old
schoolgirl.

Witnesses, who claimed they saw the girl in school uniform entering the building with the man, said the two were dropped off at the house in a car.

They
said the house appeared to have been a haven for such activities and
it was not the first time the man was seen in activities of this
nature.
They
said that in the past he used a bicycle, but yesterday he moved up
and apparently hired a taxi.
Concerned
witnesses, incensed at what they perceived to be abuse of a minor
who had left home to go to school, alerted the Police who are
investigating.
