Convict accused of buggering another prisoner

A convicted prisoner, who allegedly buggered another in the Camp Street prison, appeared in the Georgetown Magistrate's Court on Thursday.

Mark Dodson, 25, was not required to plead to the indictable charge and was further remanded to prison by Acting Chief Magistrate Cecil Sullivan.

It is alleged that on June 6, Dodson committed the act on the other inmate.

Dodson informed the court that he is currently serving an 18-month prison sentence. The matter continues on July 20 in Court Five.
