Clean up Buxton now!

Dear Editor,

I am very disturbed that the Guyana Police Force is so well staffed and yet they cannot dislodge the criminals in Buxton. Why can't the police carry out an offensive against them?

The longer the police take to capture these criminals the stronger they are getting and becoming more entrenched.

I also think that the criminals are comforted by a few misguided Buxtonians in the village who fail to realise that they are putting the lives of other innocent Buxtonians and children at risk. In the long run the situation will backfire.

I am appealing to the police to go after the criminals and I call on decent Buxtonians who are in the majority, to give support to the police. Buxton must be cleaned out and fast.
